We’re officially in the thick of -ber season, that time of year that heightens energy, especially with eclipse season ending keeping us busy as we feel the pressure to wrap up projects before the year ends in just two months. The energy also draws inward as we prepare for winter and the upcoming holidays.
I decided to publish 2025’s predictions way ahead of time this year. I’ve got an important thing happening later end of year — it’s my landmark 30th birthday. I’ll be celebrating in a place that is very special and close to my heart. I’ve waited my whole life for this moment, and it’s finally happening. Pray with me it all goes well.

A Caveat on my Philosophies
On the Solar/Lunar eclipse
Unlike the typical American, I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to witness an eclipse. Last year’s total solar eclipse in the first sign of Aries was awesome to behold, without a doubt. What lies beneath the surface, however, are supercharged energies that accelerate events that are meant to happen. What has to be let go, will be let go. What has to take its place, will rise to the throne. For me, eclipses are really a time to retreat and observe quietly while respecting the power these events hold. I may change my mind one day, if a friend ever calls me out on a road trip along the ecliptic path, but as of now, I stand ground.

On Retrogrades
On one hand, Mercury retrogrades are famously known as a time ripe for mishaps, delays, and misunderstandings that disrupt the flow of new ideas and collaborations.
On the other hand, it has seemed like my writing picks up around this time, going back to finish what was started and not completed (i.e., going back to revisit all my Medium “saved as drafts” and publishing them!).
Because of this, I have a duality of feelings towards the famous Mercury Retrograde. I find that it is best to work alone on writing during this time, but that’s just me.
2025 Overall
Feels like many social issues and economic restructuring will come to the forefront. Pluto finally pushes through into Aquarius, where it will permanently remain until 2043. We’ve already seen these values manifest in the mass adoption of AI, as Aquarius is associated with technology and community. It is also attributed to social reform, reflected in new approaches to governance and redefined social values, especially in the political arena.
From July until 2033, Uranus in Gemini brings revolutionary change in education and networks. Expect this to manifest as advancements in education systems and ways of connecting globally. Expect new ideas around freedom of speech.
Neptune also moves into Aries this year, a key outer planet regression we have to watch out for end March. This can bring a surge of visionary ideas, inspiring fresh perspectives, but also a push to confront illusions or idealized beliefs head-on. Expect a heightened drive to turn our dreams into action, challenging long-held assumptions and encouraging a more daring approach to our spiritual and creative pursuits.
The eclipses on the Virgo-Pisces axis brings more importance around addressing mental health and health routines. It is asking us to let go of rigid standards and prioritize holistic well-being over perfectionism and control.
2025 feels like the universe is hitting ‘refresh’ on the way we connect, care, and create change.
January — Shifting Tides of Power and Compassion
Analysis
On a global scale, January 2025’s astrological climate manifest as a period where critical social issues come to the forefront. The focus on productivity could be reflected in international discussions or initiatives aimed at enhancing economic efficiency and sustainability, while also addressing labour rights and equitable work conditions.
Conversations around family policies and housing might lead to widespread legislative reforms or movements pushing for more inclusive and supportive frameworks. These could include policies aimed at improving housing affordability, expanding family benefits, or introducing reforms that ensure better living conditions for underprivileged communities.

Tensions are eased as resolutions are grounded by forward-thinking solutions.
